In this three-hour class, students will learn how to go from an initial drawing or design all the way through to a finished metal part. Your instructor will go over how to turn on and prepare the machine, import a .dxf file, generate tool paths, and g-code, and then cut out the shape. We will also review the safe use of the machine, and the different parameters needed when cutting mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and copper alloys.
